This aria was sung by Pacchierotti in the pasticcio Silla,with music purportedly by P. Anfossi, C.W. Gluck, F. Alessandri, V. Martín y Soler, and T. Giordani, which debuted on 29 November 1783 at the King's Theatre in London.
Libretto for Artamene by F. Vanneschi, based on that of B. Vitturi.
