| Item Description: | Title taken from Laura Boulton's written indication on tape container. Probably concert settings of the liturgy. Unspecified language ; most likely sung in Church Slavic or Old Russian. No documentation exists for this tape except Laura Boulton's designations "Russian Orthodox," "Vespers", "Matins", and the name Fedor [sic] Potorjinsky, on containers. Possibly it is a copy of a commercial recording of the conductor Potorjinsky and his Russian Choir. Given to the Archive of World Music by the Laura Boulton Foundation in 1994. |
