Item Description:	Sung portions in Geʼez ; interview portions in English. Abba Petros Gebresellassie became Bishop Makarios of the Eritrean Orthodox Church (Asmara) in 1991. Accompanying materials include detailed tape logs and interview notes, some of which refer to conversations that were not recorded. Given to the Archive of World Music by Kay Kaufman Shelemay in 1997.
