Item Description:	Aria for soprano voice and chamber orchestra. Caption title. Advertisement under imprint on t.p.: "Where may be had all the Italian operas & dances." Publisher's catalogue on p. [6]: "IIII, Musical publications, printed and sold by Longman & Broderip, at the Apollo, no. 26 Cheapside, & no. 13 Hay-Market, London." Text by P. Metastasio. Interpolated in the pasticcio, Didone abbandonata, which was directed by P. Anfossi, arr. by Mme. Mara, and first performed on 14 February 1786 at the King's Theatre in London; Mortellari's opera of the same name, from which this aria was taken, was first performed in Florence on 16 September 1772. Engraved throughout.
