The sleeper awakes /

A troubled English insomniac falls into a sleeplike trance in the 1890s, waking 200 years later. He finds the investments made in his name are being used to maintain a hierarchical, oppressive society. Those at the lowest rung have one hope-- that the sleeper will awake and free them.
