Foolish wives.
A bogus count and his two swindling "cousins" descend upon Monte Carlo (rebuilt in Universal's back lot) and cause a rift in the marriage of an American couple. The result is a Grimm's fairytale romance that is no less fascinating today than it was 80 years ago.
