Summary:This project is focusing on develop a real-time face detection system with the additional features using National Instruments Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineering Workbench (LabVIEW) graphical development environment and National Instrument Vision Automated Inspection (NI Vision AI). The face detection system detects a person’s front face which includes eye brows, eyes, nose and mouth. The system is an integration of a face expression, background subtraction, and face searching processes which had to be fixed in the region of interest that is already specified. All of this is work together to detect the frontal of human faces in a captured video frames format. This system interfaced with attractive Graphical User Interface (GUI). This project will use a minimal hardware such as USB camera and standard computer and able to run without any additional requirements. The system is to be automatic, robust and able to operate with minimal necessary interaction from the user.
