| Summary: | The main objective of this research is to survey the level of teacher's knowledge
in objective's item building. The respondents are selected from the technical or
engineering teacher's in three Technical School. Generally, this observation is to find
out either teachers need a guideline to build objective's item as a reference or not. The
method for the questionnaire is by using Likert Scale to collect the data and further on,
answering the research questions'. After that, the data were analysed by using SPSS
11.0 (Statistical Package for Social Sciences). Based on analysed results, it shows that
respondents had give positive responses but not at all. It's mean that, they have
knowledge in building objective items at a moderate level. However, from the
observation to the answers of each questions, the respondent's knowledge are need
more improvement. So that, a Guideline: How to Build The Objective Items was
providing by the researcher as one of the way to improve this problem. The guideline is
made based on LPM's (Lembaga Peperiksaan Malaysia) standard. It consists of
procedures, explanations, examples, methods and definitions. This guideline was hoped
could help the users in building objective items. |
