| Summary: | The purpose of this research is to produce a storyboard for the dcvelopmcnt of
the multimedia software for the Sieve Analysis in Highway Engineering laboratory.

This research is focused towards the analysis of student needs comprised of user
friendliness, motivation and aspect of enhancing understanding. The respondents of this
research consisted of 42 4th semester students, in Diploma in Civil Engineering, taking
the laboratory test for Highway Engineering. This is a descriptive research where
questionnaires were used to collect the data. The obtained data were analysed by using
Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS version 10.0) to obtain the frequency
distribution, mean and percentile for items in the questionnaires. Finally the research
findings show mean scores between 3.01 to 4.5 for all the items. Therefore, student's
needs identified in the analysis are be applied in the design of the storyboard. The
storyboard produced acts as the communication medium between the designer and the
developer of the education software. |
