Description
Summary:Titanium dioxide (TiO2) has been investigated by many researcher because of their numerous application in the various industries. A transparent thin film can be applied for coating such as for a self-cleaning glass solar cell application2. The starting materials of titanium dioxide thin film using sol-gel method has been studied intensively. The starting materials of titanium (IV) butoxide, ethanol, acetic acid, triton x-100, hydrochloric acid and deionized water were mixed together to form the sols. Then, the heat and ageing treatment treatment was applied to form stable sols. The sols were spin coated or immersed on the glass substrate to form the thin film. The TiO2 thin film was coated at several layers. The crystallinity of the thin film was determined by the x-ray diffractometer coated at several layers.
