| Summary: | The electrical energy generation companies try always to improve the system performance through reducing the active power losses and that lead the fuel cost is reduced also. One of the way is by incorporate is Distributed Generation (DGs). DGs are becoming more prominent in transmission systems due to increased demand for the electrical energy. The location of DGs sources will have an impact on system losses of distribution network. In this Project, Sensitivity Analysis will be used to solving the problem of optimal location of DGs. The objective is to minimize network power loss in the transmission lines. This case will be applied for two types of load demands i.e. minimum and maximum. The present study will be carried out by using 30 Bus IEEE test system. For reducing the power losses, the simulation results have showing that the bus 13 which has the most negative of partial derivative aP(Loss)/sP(N) giving the most efficient of the network. |
