| Summary: | The dynamic object in the world that always change from time to time initiates the requirement to focus more on the timely provision of movement data. Therefore it is necessary to know more about the information providers in order to explore the business process of data gathering, updating and investigating the new ways of acquisition of such data within the emerging of the new technologies. The way of gathering and controlling data has been changed by the emerging technologies such as Geographic Information System (GIS), Global Positioning System (GPS), the internet, wireless communication, portable computing solutions, and spatial database (Tang and Selwood, 2003). These technologies which previously used separately has been combined and bring together which is known as mobile GIS application for collecting and updating data more effectively and efficiently. |
