Description
Summary:There is a little empirical research on how practitioners define and incorporate stakeholder influences into overall environmental management practices, particularly in the context of logistics companies. As such, this paper aims to investigate the relationships between stakeholder influences and environmental management practices. A total of 101 questionnaires were distributed to Malaysian logistics companies. The results found that competitive source is positively related to environmental management practices. Surprisingly, governmental source has no impact on environmental management practices. It is expected that this paper will offer useful guidance for fleet operations to recognize and acknowledge the interest of its competitive sources when making business decisions and embracing environmental management practices.
