| Summary: | This paper presents research on a Vivaldi antenna with the ability to change its operating frequency between narrowband and wideband. In total, five different modes are supported: a wideband and four narrowband modes. The wideband mode extends from a frequency of 1 3.7 GHz. The narrowband modes operate at 2.3, 2.6, 3, and 3.2 GHz, respectively. The wideband to narrowband reconfiguration is achieved by switching from a coplanar waveguide feed to a slot-line feed. We also compare simulated and measured results for the antenna, including magnitudes of reflection coefficient, radiation patterns and gain. |
